Part of our brain (the weak part) is attracted to younger females, but the remainder of our brain knows it's unhealthy. To compensate, we look for adult women with childlike attributes.

Honestly, before I knew what a nasty, right-wing freak Palin was, I did find her physically attractive. I knew she was a Republican and was disappointed that she had beaten Knowles in the AK Governor's race, but I thought, "Hey, maybe she's not so bad," because she didn't seem to be completely aligned with the Murkowski-Stevens-Young Repug nasties up there. And I *did* think she was attractive- albeit more in a sexy than a beautiful way- and based pretty much totally on looks. But yeah, finding out she's a screechy-voiced, sarcastic, nasty, deranged wingnut has altered my feelings pretty substantially. Still, I'd have to admit that if I didn't know she was who she was and just saw her on the street, I would think she was kind of hot. But, you know, different strokes for different folks- even when it comes to scary Repug women! I have a friend who is an Obama voter who thinks Cindy McCain is extremely hot and talks about all of the things he would do to her, and I just find her creepy-looking and am not attracted to her at all.
