Palin is An Embarrassment To All Women
And women should be outraged that they dared to nominate this lying, scheming, poor example of a human being as their first female VP. She doesn't represent the average woman anymore than * represents the average Yale graduate.

1. the right wing likes her because she is like Bush
her line about terrorists and how Obama wants to read them their rights is a perfect example of this. McCain was not ignorant enough for the base. they don't give a shit about him being POW. he was POW for all those years they hated him, when they supported BUsh over him, before he picked Palin. him being POW wasn't enough for him to get their respect.

he needed to bring ignorance on to the ticket to get their support.

the contempt for anyone who thinks is exactly like her and Bush. and of course the hypocrisy that goes with it including the daughter being pregnant, her cutting funding for teen moms, cutting funding for special needs kids.

3. While I was never a Hillary supporter, I find it
shameful that the only woman who ended up on a national ticket this year is a rightwing nutcase whose policies would set women back decades. It is truly outrageous.

I'll say this: If we somehow lose this thing (which I don't expect to happen), watching Hillary take down Barbie in 2012 would be pretty poetic. We should just cancel the primaries and move to the main event for that one.
