One major inspirational speech by Barack Obama will be all it takes |
|
to make any voter with half a brain forget about cutesy wootsy squeak-doll, Sarah Palin.
All Barack has to do is take his 2004 Keynote Address speech, change a few words, and deliver us from evil, AMEN.
Palin might be able to inspire some fools with her typical Republican bullshit, but no one can inspire an entire country like Obama when he puts his mind to it.
I'm ready to hear something major from Obama pretty soon. How about you?

Timing is everything, as HRC found out.

3. He has got to get airtime, bought for or free, and lots of it. |
|
One speech, chopped and distorted by the media, and given 15 seconds of fame, is not going to do it. Donate. We have to buy the airtime McCain is getting for free.

4. I expect a major speech on the economy and the middle class next week |
|
The McCain campaign is going to live off of its canned convention speeches for awhile now while their best staffers are busy remaking Barbie into someone who can talk credibly on national issues and foreign policy (and good luck with that). They ran an issues-free convention and will be following it up with repeats. The door is wide open for us to make some news with a substantial speech and I expect it will happen.

not only must it be a major speech, it must also be covered majorly by the networks - so we'll see if the "journalists" step up to the plate or not. I'm also hoping maybe a big endorsement coming down the pike...don't know who though. Some have mentioned Colin Powell, but that's not impressive to most of us here, given his complicity in leading this nation into the Iraq War.
