Notice that neither Obama nor Biden even use Palin's name |
|
They refer to her as "The Governor," or "The Vice Presidential candidate." Meanwhile, Biden refers to McCain as "John." It's hilarious.

4. It is a good strategy - |
|
marginalizes her, keeps the pressure on where it needs to be kept on - John McCain.

5. Obama/Biden are not taking the bait! |

Edited on Sat Sep-06-08 07:53 AM by Vinnie From Indy
Palin was ONLY chosen as an attempt to draw Dems into a trap. The right wing desperately wants to make the discussion about Palin rather than McCain/Bush. One need only look at the coordinated, pre-planned outrage at any criticism of Palin by the propaganda pimps of the right wing media to see this strategy.
Obama ain't biting! Good for him! Everything to do with Palin's family should be ignored and the focus should stay squarely on marrying McCain to Bush/Cheney.

6. I TOLD you they were smart. Keeping it focused on why we are in the state we are |
|
in economically, internationally ..in other words where we all live!
and not mentioning her by name is a stroke of genius. They have sequestered her. Fine. They won't acknowledge her.
and Joe calling McCain 'John' accomplishes two things:
it makes him ordinary sounding and it shows that Joe knows him, really knows him, and is comfortable calling him 'John'
