She's a one hit wonder...
She's going across small town america delivering her one hit, the same speech she gave at the RNC, word for word, offering defunct facts and smears, sure the base loves it, Independents might like it, but will slowly notice its just more of the same. McCain has rolled her out as a rock star, the same way a manager introduces us the latest, greatest boy band.
She is bring rolled out to us as a new brand, and people are always excited at the latest greatest.
Remember Milli Vanilli?
Upon there brand's er bands release, shot to the top of the charts and everyone wanted to buy into the facade. They clamored to get the new album and were maybe a little disappointed when the rest of the songs were not really near as good as their one hit. Eventually and not much farther along the curtain came back and everyone saw there was absolutely nothing behind the substance, and everything we'd heard & loved had been faked, synched, and plagiarized. We'd been lied too, and we didn't like it. So began one of the biggest demises in the music industries history.
We tore them down in a relentless onslaught of media exposing exposes. We felt we'd cheapened in ourselves for buying into the hype, and we never ever forgave them for the dirty feeling it gave us.
This is precisely the reasoning for not letting Sarah Palin talk to the media. We all know that here, if she was truly about substance over style she'd have been plastered on every news talk show immediately, talking about real issues and true facts. When they questioned Obama, thats what he did. Thats how he's endured so many of the man made controversies and allegation... head on, time and again. ( Remember his speech on race? )
Hiding her away from the media might delay the inevitable, but it sure as hell can't stop it. Americans love their rock stars, but they equally love watching them fall, and they never EVER forgive the ones that don't get up, and defend themselves.
Goodbye Sarah Palin we're counting you down.
