"This is no time for on-the-job training."
That's what Rudolph Giuliani said at the Republican convention.

This may be the first and only time I say this, but I'm with Rudy on this one.

Where is Sarah Palin now? Cramming for the debate, trying to learn the difference between Sunnis and Shiites. If that's not "on-the-job" training, what is? They won't even let her give interviews to the media because they're afraid she'll say something so dumb and wrong she'll lose the election for them.

You can't "cram" to be President. Obama's shown the world over and over again the depth of his knowledge and judgment, while Sarah Palin cowers and hides from the media, except when she's reading from a script.

Why isn't this the number one story on the news today? A new, untested VP candidate, refusing to give interviews to the media for fear they'll realize how unprepared she is for the job? And we're supposed to vote for her? To trust her with the fate of the country?

GIVE ME A BREAK!

1. Palin is spending 2 weeks to become a republican talking points machine
she is so clueless about the country and the world, they have to give her a crash course, before she is allowed to talk to the press.

4. Agreed. This will be the Fred Thompson effect. The base was completely
fired up about him and then they all became disillusioned when he was not "out there".
