The Democratic Party has never Been This Unified.
Damn it feels good.

It's the exact opposite of what they are trying to sell to the public. It is the republicans who are shattered and fractured and splintered now. Not the democrats. They are the ones who have segments threatening not to vote for one candidate or another while they sold to us that democrats were split over race, sex, all the old divisions that rich people have always put up to keep people divided.

Republicans keep acting like they are mainstream America. LOL Then they stage a convention and absolutely prove that they are not.

1. It's a tough sell when
all you got is divide and conquer

2. Well, if the PC Police here on DU keep up with their namecalling
we'll be divided again soon enough.

Now people who don't like the VP pick and choose to express their opinion are being openly called "stupid". That's ok. I know saboteurs when I see them.

3. It's just the process. At least our party does it democratically.
Everybody gets to talk shit and vent until we finally melt ourselves down into a blade. They laugh at us for the way we do things, but it does produce a much better process if allowed to mature.

Things are coming together at the right time for us this time around. Nobody is completely staified with anything. But evrbody can live with what we got and move forward.

Especially when the other side helps to galvanize you.

The worst thing you can do to people who you like to divide and conquer is to start ridiculing members of their coalition.

4. We've been united the WHOLE time. We had a GREAT slate of candidates to choose from.
They were all good.

Theirs all suck.

FDR: Damn! I wish we were in Texas or Illinois where they let dead people vote!
ER: Franklin!!! that's against the law! But I would like to vote for Mr. Obama...
