McCain Supportes Act Like Religious Cultists but Without the Ethics

http://www.opednews.com/maxwrite/diarypage.php?did=9098

The values of the Republican Party lately seem to be "anti-values" and do not stand for anything positive. They have become real nihilists masquerading behind phony patriotism and reform. They intend neither.

::::::::

Is this the kind of President and Vice President McCain voters want? Two people who run an angry and derisive, insulting, lie-laced campaign? Ones who cover up and lie about their records and policies while distorting the stances taken by their opponents, instead of talking issues and differences of opinion? Do they want a repeat of these last eight years after all our coujtry has seen happen?

The only thing one can conclude is that McCain voters must be a political, quasi-religious cult, of knee-jerk, brainwashed followers who will use underhanded tactics, dirty tricks, savage attacks that tell the public lies in order to win by crook since they can't win on the strength of ideas. Their party is intellectually and morally bankrupt.

The Repubicans think they can have it both ways. They can talk loftily of bipartisanship, then allow their team to savage their opponents with things that aren't even true..

One would think they wouldn’t do this since this is precisely how Mr. Bush destroyed McCain’s candidacy in the 2000 primaries, with the help of the Karl Rove’s team that Mr. McCain now uses to run his own campaign. McCain voters don’t care if America continues to slide into bankruptcy and ruin and pariah status all over the world.

They put party first instead of America or they wouldn’t be trying to turn our national need to discuss real bread and butter issues into a carnival of partisan rancor. They refuse to simply debate differences of opinion or explain policies or define ideals, because they secretly want more of the same failure our country has been getting from George W.Bush. .

McCain people often comment that those who write posts against Sarah Palin "must be scared."
