Palin Choice = Religion, Gender, Oil
That is the way I see McCain's pick

Religion to energize the base with a religious extremist. I spent 12 years in catholic school. That was enough to "cure" me at 15 years old. We don't need a theocracy. We need to KEEP the separation of church and state with everything that that entails. McCain himself was not enough to bring out the fundies. He thinks this woman will.

Gender to pick up the female vote he needs. McCain needs those disaffected Hillary supporters, Hockey Moms (no, no, no), and all brain dead females who think ANY woman on the ticket is better than no woman at all. Sorry, I think American women are smarter than that and can see pandering for what it is. Damn, I didn't even vote for Hillary, my former Senator who I voted for, because it was my opinion she was the wrong woman for the job. I would vote for Hillary a million times over before I would EVER vote for a woman like Palin. No woman is better than the wrong woman.

Oil drilling in ALASKA with the public clamoring for cheaper gas prices. I am very surprised nobody has even talked about this one. What CONNECTIONS does an Alaska Governor bring to the table for oil companies foaming at the mouth to start drilling in Alaska? FOLLOW THE MONEY with this one.

Sara Palin is wrong, wrong, wrong of so, so many fronts.
