I live in California, where an Obama victory is secure. FWIW -- I am a transplant with family ties in Southwestern Iowa.

I am a licensed attorney, extremely knowledgeable about the mortgage/credit crisis. I lost my job/business to the collapse. I am not looking too hard just yet for replacement. I have time on my hands, and spend much of my day message boarding/chat rooming about politics anyway.

In 2004 I did some phone-banking and also traveled to Las Vegas for door to door GOTV efforts for Kerry. I felt certain that the '04 election was stolen. I was crushed for about a month afterward.

I was a 6 year Clinton supporter, financially, and believed that I would be tepid in support of BO. Hillary's campaign speech lit a fire, and subsequent events up to Biden's stump speech in PA yesterday fanned it. I am fully on board the BO program now.

I would like to help with phone banking/viral campaigns. I doubt that I will do another travel to GOTV because that was such a crushing experience last time.
