The epic nomination battle between Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton helped put millions more Democrats on the voter rolls while Republican registration declined. (Sept. 6)

3. Thats great news
I'm always disappointed when someone tells me they didn't vote. It's always the same stupid excuses, "I forgot", "I hate politics", or "My vote doesn't matter."

Good news, now we just have to get them out to vote. Being registered is great but if they don't vote, whats the point?

4. I guess I'm pretty much over the edge -
the last time a guy told me that he had never voted (and he was in his 60s) I told him to get out of the building I was in, that he was a waste of space and if he didn't care about his future, he needed to quit wasting my present.
