McCain has made himself small and irrelevant
with his choice of his Gimmicky Veep.

This choice will be the end of him. period.

1. It is a gimmick.
She is so unqualified that they can't let her near a reporter.

What an insult to the American people.

2. He's always been at the bottom of the class
and seems to have a great skill for crashing and burning amidst a whole lot of bluster.

Yup.. same old Mccain

4. For the fundie right, he has become a place holder for their dream
candidate who will mindlessly govern based on extreme religious right ideology.

6. The first presidential candidate whose base is actually praying for his demise.

7. Isn't that crazy? But that is what he's done.

They are probably reveling in the fact that he's 72 years old and has had bouts of cancer.

8. Its a bizarre on-stage visual
McCain and Gimmick look strange together - and Johnny boy looks every bit the second banana to the new flavor of the week republican celebutant. Reporters say his ego demands people see him as a knight on the white horse - a modern day savior. I wonder how much longer before he begins to really resent this pipsqueak. That is after all why he hates Obama so much - Obama never bought into McCain's myth - never showed him the respect he "deserved.".

11. I wondered how McLame feels about Sarah outshining him among the R-base too...
methinks he can't be really happy that ALL the coverage is about HER, not him. But then again - as long as it's about HER then he doesn't have to present any real ideas on how HE can help bring about change for our country....

13. I expect...
that he and the repugs didn't think at all about the repercussions and believed they would get all of the shine and youth...and that she would never be able (so they thought) be someone who would out shine him and make him appear older..even older than he did before he picked her...i think they thought because she is a woman, she would be seen as the underling, but that is not what happened.

10. Yeah, I don't get why people say we should lay off her and focus on McCain.
Focusing on Palin highlights the fact that she completely overshadows him and that he's just kind of a forgettable, dull old nobody.

12. so true...
if he has to remove her from his ticket, he's already made himself a blip on a map. Obama landslide. McCain is playing Russian Roulette with Palin.

McCain is making Palin the face of the McCain message.

14. Yep! Take a look at these poll results!!!!
McCain comes in third behind Palin and Obama. Keep in mind people don't know Palin yet.

Whose candidacy do you find most remarkable?
Sarah Palin's 44%
Barack Obama's 36%
John McCain's 17%
Joe Biden's 3%
Total Votes: 15,951
Note on Poll Results
