as the charade they're putting on for Palin.

The Republican minions were waiting to jump up and down for joy no matter who McCain's choice was, so don't get all discouraged and thinking that Palin is some kind of a saviour or anything. She's not. The hero's treatment she's getting from all their sheep is all a well-scripted act. They would have acted the very same even if Joe Lieberman was chosen because they know how to play the game. Palin's routine is going to wear thin in very short time, especially after all the sheep and all the media get sick of acting like she's a hero and realize she's nothing but an empty windbag and a pair of glasses. As far as the bounce they got, they would have gotten the same bounce in the polls no matter who McCain's choice was, but that's only because they know how to put on such a good act. Their bounce isn't going to last long. We're in good shape.
