It's been a bit windy, but this is a great time of year to visit. More likely to have sun than other times of the year. What part of the coast are you visiting?

working way down from WA coast..have enjoyed every stop in Oregon. Spending three days on each beach and can't pick a favorite. in Newport today. (both my kids live in Portland)

19. My favorite is at the Heceta Lighthouse

Devil's Elbow. It's great at high tide, when the waves are all crashing. It's great at low tide when you can explore all the tidepools. A little creek flows into the ocean there, with a pretty bridge in the background. Lighthouse is beautiful. I just love it. The Cape Perpetua visitors center is interesting there too, with gorgeous views.

I do hope you go to both aquariums in Newport, they are a bit different. And if you haven't done fresh oysters yet, they have an oyster farm somewhere in Newport, and another one down in Winchester Bay if you're going that way. Delicious.

When I first saw this graphic behind her head towards the end of the show, I thought, "Whaaa?"
Then, I thought, good idea, she's bringing on an opposing opinion and isn't sweet that she gets to face down this guy that hurt her so much with his convention speech in the past.
By the end.....bad idea....Pat Buchanan is just going to wine and screech and repeat the same BS heard on every other channel at every other hour.
If she can, please make it "It's not Pat"

18. Faux News was criticizing MSNBC for hiring her

and they actually said she is a lesbian, liberal talk show host. I could not believe my ears! Since when does the media discuss the sexual orientation of its' competition?? I hope Rachel never hears how badly they were talking about her. Of course, they forgot the part about her being Dr. Rachel Maddow...Rhodes Scholar, etc.
