Can anyone provide any in-depth info (articles, first-hand accounts, whatever) on the vaunted Obama ground game? I increasingly believe that this election will come down to whether or not it lives up to its hype. I hear great things, and saw evidence of it in the caucus states and a few others. However, it seemed underwhelming at times in Ohio/Pennsylvania and elsewhere. A friend in Pennsylvania told me not too long ago that Obama has spurned the traditional local Democratic machines in the western part of the state in order to build his local grassroots. I have no idea if what he said is accurate, but it sounded somewhat unsettling if so.

will be unbelievable. I have been talking about the program here to very little response. You can go to the site, print in your address and up pop about 50 of your neighbors who are democrats, these are people that I know, see and wave at daily, just never knew they were democrats. I have 14 days to complete my list and send it in and I will do so, can you imagine if 125000 people at DU would print up their lists and go out? I know it is not in every state. Just a thought.
