I have a couple questions about the firing the chef story - can anyone help? |
|
I know she is very proud of herself for firing her personal chef and touts it as a point of how down-to-earth and budget conscious she is for the state of Alaska. This point is made in tandem with selling the jet.
Now, I have read here that she really just gave the chef another title.
But, did the newly titled chef continue to cook, or did the person actually go away and perform other duties in a totally different capacity?
I ask because IF the person continued to cook, that would be just a hugely effective story and would expose lying and hypocrisy like no other.

1. Never mind, I found the thread on the Greatest page. |

To answer my own questions, the chef was given a new titile and ended up cooking in the Legislative lounge. So, apparently did not continue cooking for Palin personally.
BUT, I think a good point is, she touts it as a budget cut for the state and it really isn't. The person was just reassigned, not fired.

2. I can't find anywhere she actually said it was a budget cut.... I think she muddied the waters on it |
|
But never said the chef was fired specifically?
