Meghan McCain on THE TODAY SHOW disrespects other military families by praising hers

She just said "No one knows what war is like other than my family....PERIOD!" She was talking about her brothers serving and her dad being a "famous war hero."

I think I would have thrown something at the tv. I guess my husband's service and the service of his unit in Iraq don't count. I am sure the 3 widows of the men that his unit lost would please to know that they don't know war like the McCains.

This needs to go in an ad, so that the other troop families, see what the McCains think of them.

And I don't mean to sound judgemental or anything, especially since candidate's children's are not subject to media type training as much as the candidates and are probably more prone to say things with not as much care on tv.......but judging from her blog too....sometimes it's hard to believe that Meghan is a Columbia graduate.

I get sad thinking about the kid who may have been turned down because they didn't have Meghan's connections. I knew something was up when I say her hanging out with Heidi from 'The Hills'; the standard is REALLY low for McCain kids.

how she brought up the "controversy" that happened when a reporter once asked McCain whether he would allow his daughter to have an abortion, and McCain said "it would be her decision". Her point was that she was 14 at the time and saw "Meghan McCain, abortion" in the headlines and it really weirded her out (which is a fair enough point), but maybe not such a good idea to bring up McCain's wishy washy statements from the past again. I mean, not that he doesn't already have the pro-life vote and everything, but I wonder if she cleared that first with the campaign.

It was from her blog that the picture of a pregnant Bristol came from, DAYS before it was official and now she's stuck her foot in her mouth on live television. Did McCain do a good job raising ANY of his children? What a consummate failure.
