Here is the line: "Turns out it was not a surge afterall.... It was an escalation!!"
The surege was supposed to be temporary right? Tamp down sectarian violence so that the Al-maliki government has the breathing room necessary to create a stood up democracy..... Well it has been it has been nearly 20 months and to hear McCain and Bush talk there is still no end to even the surge.

We need to tie the GOP together in one big Gordian knot

1. ha... i have the argument. escalation, just upping the amount of soldiers there like they were
told by all those generals from before war started, to start of war, to all the time until the escalation that more soldiers were needed. they finally did, after years, what they were initially told and had failed to do
