DONATE! Obama funds "extremely anemic"
September 9, 2008
Forgoing Subsidy, Obama Team Presses Donors
By MICHAEL LUO and JEFF ZELENY

http://bit.ly/1YzGw6

After months of record-breaking fund-raising, a new sense of urgency in Senator Barack
Obama’s fund-raising team is palpable as the full weight of the campaign’s decision to
bypass public financing for the general election is suddenly upon it.

Pushing a fund-raiser later this month, a finance staff member sent a sharply worded
note last week to Illinois members of its national finance committee, calling their
recent efforts “extremely anemic.”

The signs of concern have become evident in recent weeks as early fund-raising totals
have suggested that Mr. Obama’s decision to bypass public financing may not necessarily
afford him the commanding financing advantage over Senator John McCain that many had
originally predicted

4. Not Another Dime Until He Listens To ME and Goes on the Attack!!!

:sarcasm:

Where have I heard THAT before???

Seriously, he gets about two-fifty from me every 4 to 6 weeks.

Let's get with it DU!!!

XXXXX --

John McCain and the Republicans had all week to make their case -- and they didn't do it.

The whole Republican convention went by without offering a single idea about how to improve the lives of ordinary Americans.

People noticed. In the last 24 hours, more people donated to this campaign for the first time than ever before. Thank you for responding so strongly.

Barack is making clear what this election should be about. At a campaign stop in Pennsylvania yesterday, he spoke out about exactly what we didn't hear at the Republican convention.

You can help make sure Barack's message of change is heard loud and clear. Will you watch the video and make a donation of $250 or more today?

:patriot:

5. I don't buy it. After palin was announced, republicans gained 8 million
in donaions over several days

HOWEVER, Obama gained OVER 10 million dollars IN ONE DAY as a result of that choice

Absolutely people should donate, but don't believe this story. Everything indicates a record fund raising month for Obama

Remember judy miller and the WMDs. NYTtimes isn't what it used to be
