I just convinced my dad to send Obama/Biden a contribution!!!!

My dad voted for Bush in 2004, but has been a solid Obama supporter since early on in the campaign. He says he hasn't been this excited about a candidate since Bobby Kennedy in 1968. He is 67 years old, came of age during the JFK years and then saw Bobby on the stump in the Bronx during the 1968 campaign - he says Obama reminds him of Bobby. Anyway, he is a real tough old working class Bronx guy (former ironworker), and we've bonded recently over Obama. I finally told him this morning to put his money where his mouth is and he is going to do it! I am so proud!! :)

If Obama can reach my dad, I really believe he can do this!
