Yes! Biden Hits McCain and Palin On Stem Cell Research!
Biden waded into the issue of stem cell research today:

I hear all this talk about how the Republicans are going to work in dealing with parents who have both the joy, because there's joy to it as well, the joy and the difficulty of raising a child who has a developmental disability, who were born with a birth defect. Well guess what folks? If you care about it, why don't you support stem cell research?"

6. I've been think of him lately
I was wondering how he was doing. I was concerned that he wasn't doing so good because you don't see him anymore.

8. "My friend, I would have been glad to have stem-cell research for 5 years when I was a POW.
But now, I need to ask someone on my campaign staff what my position is this week..."

7. I was there (it was Columbia, MO) and it was the biggest response he got from the crowd all day!
I think the question was about what Obama planned to do about America's 53 million disabled citizens, and the questioner was very angry that the issue was not being addressed. It was actually kind of uncomfortable in the room after she finished the question. Joe talked about all the disabled veterans who deserve better care and then hit them with the stem cell thing and the crowd exploded. It was great.

9. I was there too.
Biden is fantastic at fielding questions. I've always thought highly of him, but seeing him in person (from the 3rd row in front I might add!) was quite impressive. His answers to voters' questions garnered bigger responses than his initial speech did, and those were huge to begin with. I kind of winced when the woman started getting angry... I didn't know what to expect. He certainly aced that one though. I'm definitely looking forward to his debate against America's favorite moose hunter. If today's town hall was any indication, he won't let us down.
