No Matter Where You Stand, Do Not Vote Vagina
Different issues are important to different women. How women vote, is a personal choice, but a choice that should be made based on knowing where you stand on women’s issues and where your candidate stands.


At a time when the U.S. is suffering many hardships, it is important to vote on who you feel is best-suited for the job-at-hand, and not on gender. Perhaps this is why women’s rights groups are now refusing to support Sarah Palin simply because she is a mother and a woman.

The National Organization of Women (NOW) has refused to support Sara Palin as Sen. John McCain’s vice presidential choice. NOW, is only one of several major women special interest groups that is urging women not to vote gender; not to vote for Palin.

In a August 29, 2008 press release, NOW PAC Chair Kim Gandy stated, “Gov. Palin may be the second woman vice-presidential candidate on a major party ticket, but she is not the right woman. Sadly, she is a woman who opposes women's rights, just like John McCain.”

9. Barbra Streisand to sing at big Obama fundraiser

Reuters:

Singer-actress Barbra Streisand, who originally endorsed Hillary Clinton in the U.S. presidential primary race, has jumped on Barack Obama's bandwagon with both feet to sing for the newly anointed Democratic nominee at a Beverly Hills fund-raiser next week. Organizers say the hurriedly planned Sept. 16 event will probably mark Obama's final stop on the Hollywood political money trail before the November election.

Seats for the dinner and reception together go for a whopping $28,500 per person, but supporters who just want to hear Babs sing for Obama can get in for as little as $2,500 per ticket, Spahn said. At those prices, the two-part event could bring in nearly $9 million, making it the biggest single Democratic fund-raiser for the current election cycle. The money would be divided between Obama's campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

10. Koch backs Obama, calls Palin 'scary'

Former New York Mayor Ed Koch, who endorsed and worked for George W. Bush in 2004, is endorsing Obama today, NY1 first reported.

He said he was alarmed by the report that she'd triggered a conflict with the local librarian in Wasilla, Alaska by inquiring about the possibility of banning books.

Koch said he'd visited six states for Bush in 2004, primarily Florida, but also several others. ("Why they sent me to Iowa, I don't know.") He said he'd be happy to campaign for Obama "if they ask me to."

Koch is a member of a set of secular, swing-voting Jewish Democrats who may have been pushed away by the selection of Palin, and his endorsement may be a marker of an opportunity for Obama to strengthen his campaign among older Jewish voters in Florida.

15. I thought we needed it again - to regain perspective and fight the negatives

but I don't have the time to give it that I gave the Primary daily news, so
I will post the blog roll and let people find an article to post each day.
(I spent about 2 hours a day for the primary daily news, but that is because
I posted many of the articles)

I have to work, be a parent and take care of an elderly parent, so will
need help to make this thread worth reading.

A popular (often drunken) pastime in northern climes is to go outside and write your name in the snow with urine like our friend, Greg (above). He did an okay job even if his handwriting (actually, his "peniswriting") is a touch on the girly side.

Problem is, this particular winter activity has become mainstream. Any two-bit schmuck with a bladder full of Pabst can do it. Tell you what, Greggy, talk to me when you can crap your name in the snow. And I'm not talking about a bunch of individual, pieced-together logs. I'm talking in cursive, one continuous turd. You do that and you will have earned my respect.

This post goes out to my pal, Dr. Zibbs, who reminded me with this post that if you're struggling to come up with material, always return to the toilet.

OH!!! come on you guys- Don't tell me - some of you guys are buying into this Palin crab- don't you see -by picking Palin just shows how scary he is-he didn't really want her- he was just looking for a smoking gun-

I've worked with lots of Palins- first I think she's a narcosis- will stop at nothing to get what she wants- often in the spot light- wears a mask because she is not what she appears to be- many times the faithful husband role -is played by a quite stand behind my wife kinda man-of course she could not have any other type of man- because she has to have the spot light- and at any cost- okay usually mean as HELL!!- but uses her Faith to hide behind-

In other words she does her DIRT IN THE NAME OF THE LORD- and like most people that do the same- that makes it all okay- "BECAUSE GOD SAID SO"- Now don't get me wrong- she'll do things to help others- but you best believe it's something in it for her- Children- only as a commodity- Don't put anything past h er- sound like anyone you know- now I grew up in New York- but I have southern roots- and from a child I was taught- that what ever you do in the dark WILL COME TO THE LIGHT- and oh boy she's done things-

Its no telling who this person really is- but I can tell you this- she's no soccer mom- by the way- what is a soccer mom- that's the dumbest crap i've heard in a long time- it means nothing- like a baseball mom- a basketball mom- a ping pong mom- she should have been a -just say no mom for her daughter- or better yet- has she realized that when it comes to sex just saying no does not work- or is like mother- like daughter- I here her oldest child was born less than 8 months after she got married- oh!! don't beat me up- why should I care about her and her family- she DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOURS OR MINE- the only clam to flame i've heard- her husband her daughters boyfriend and her but she said it in French- was that they were red necks- now there's nothing wrong with bein g a red neck-

But after 8 years of it do you really want more huh!!!- Hay what about McCain's wife- when she brings some black lady from part of Africa out and said she was her friend and her hero- I say to you all my Brothers and Sisters of all races- with all the Black females in the U.S. if you can't find one - just one to call friend- you are not fooling anyone- It's the U.S.

I'm concerned about- where are the Black American women she's reached out to - made friends with- that's like cleaning someone else's house and your own house is dirty- and then giving advise to others on what they should do- Look people did you think this was going to be easy- did you think they were going to just role over and play dead-

Yet what gets to me the most - to think that any woman is just as good as another- like look ya'll she's a woman- that did nothing but piss me off- Make no mistake rich people DO NOT- I REPEAT NO NOT want you to have money- the only reason Martha went to prison was because she's old monies worse night mare- a working class person- who was able to compete with them- and became richer than many- it wasn't because she lied- they felt it would break her- but you see how God works she was worth more money coming out of prison- than she was going in-

Now what does that mean- WHAT GOD HAS FOR YOU IS FOR YOU- so bring on all the Palin Alaska has it will do no go- PEACE and KEEP the Faith and no matter what Always remember- YES WE CAN
