The polls dont matter until after the first debate |
|
Thats when most people make up their minds. The 2nd and 3rd debates have less of a effect.
I hope not, but believe the first debate is on National/Foreign Policy which is the McCain strength.
Also 2 of the 3 debates are sit down debates which help McCain because it helps him hide the fact he is short and old and will keep him from getting tired. ( I will never understand why Obama agreed to this )
At one time I believed Obama would wipe the floor in a debate with McCain but now Im scared. The long answers dont go over good.
Obama has to win that first debate and it will swing the voters in our direction.
But until after that debate I dont think the polls mean much.

2. Most of the polls actually look okay today |
|
Anyway, Obama will stomp the old man into the ground simply by standing next to him -- Obama will look young and equal to the task ... McCain will look like what he is -- an old soldier WAY past his prime.
