Whatever happened to Palin heading back to Alaska to spend time with her son, Track?
I wrote about it here yesterday, when she was headed to Ohio:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x6992214

I thought the McCain camp was holding off reporters seeking access to her by saying she's headed back to Alaska, to spend time with her son before his deployment to Iraq on 9/11, you know, two days from now.

But I'm watching MSNBC, and she's in Pennsylvania. Since the McCain camp gave that whopper of an excuse, she's been about as far away from Alaska as possible. She's been to every crucial swing state... New Mexico, Colorado, Wisconsin, Missouri, Ohio.. and now, Pennsylvania.

Is the media really going to sit by and watch her stump speech again? The same speech she's been giving since August 29th? The same speech written by the Bush Administration? The same one she never differs from; the speech I can now deliver by heart without even missing a beat?

I thought she was headed back to Alaska and that's why she couldn't answer your questions, oh, our hard-workin' press corps.

Looks like you've been played again.

2. Really? I mean, is she *really* going to Alaska?
Or is she going to hit Montana first?

I mean, six states later and they're hawkin' the same excuse.

11. There's some kind of ceremony she's attending in AK before her
son leaves, so yes, I'd say she's going.

8. That's awfully mommy-like of her.. to go spend ONE day with her son before he
leaves for war. I can't imagine doing that to my kids. She ignores them!

13. It's kind of beside-the point, though.
Didn't the McCain camp tell a whopper about her heading to Alaska DAYS AGO, in order to deny her access to the press, even though she's been to, like, five swing-states since?

14. They lie; I'm resolved to that, I guess. And isn't she being
interviewed in AK on Thurday by ABC?

:banghead::banghead:

Perhaps her son's deployment is delayed with the new "policy" unveiled by Bu$h this morning.....

3. Who comes up with these names?
The names Trig and Track alone should be enough to disqualify her.

6. They wouldn't let her go when they realized no one would show up to see McCain
unless she was there to do the talking. Sad..
