Chris Matthews: New WaPo/ABC Poll has Obama leading McCain 47%-46% |
|
Edited on Tue Sep-09-08 04:07 PM by ClarkUSA
Sorry, concern trolls! Matthews is happy as a kid with an ice-cream cone.. And he'll be showing Meghan McCain's idiotic comment on the Today Show later. What happened to McCain's convention bump?? Guess all those Lies To Nowhere took their toll.
Heh. :toast:

They need to quit thinking that they are just like Kerry's team... they're not.
They defeated Hillary and the powerful Clinton machine... they KNOW what they are doing.
They need to quit acting like an abused child and trust them.

I for one am hopeful and optimistic, but DO get concerned by some of the polls because they do tell us what some of the electorate is feeling.
But it seems to be required to be either/or -- as you demonstrated by your post. You're essentially saying, if you want unity, do it OUR way.

|
This campaign will go down in the books as a phenom, I have no doubt. And they're brilliant beyond description, but jeez - we're gun shy after 2000 and 2004.
I trust the campaign, I am optimistic that we'll prevail, but that doesn't stop me from having a concern occasionally.
And again, you're essentially saying the way to be united is to not ask any questions or express concerns. I disagree.

There are THOUSANDS, if not MILLIONS, of other families on both sides of the issue that have been affected by war, this one in particular. And they have the nerve to call the OBAMAS "elitist"? 79. I will work AGAINST HIM ... |
|
in the primary at, at least ...
His one main gift is a highly attuned finger in the wind - he might be finding his inner liberal over the last month or so, but he spend the other 7 years doing the right wing's bidding of bashing and marginalizing democrats. He WAS part of the problem when it was what was best for him, NOW he is letting his inner liberalness out when he is building his creds for a run against Spector?
Remember that little clip when he got caught on a live mic during commercial break with Tom Delay, when he was breathlessly sucking that pompous scumbags rear end, with some poling numbers that he said something like "bad news for Hillary"?
NOPE, he does not get a pass from me in the primary, I will work for whoever is opposing him.
Now, when he breaks the primary, which he is almost assured of, then I am not going to stand in his way if he can take Spector down.

Schuster is strongly debunking Palin's repeated "Bridge to Nowhere" lies, talking about Troopergate, and quoting the WaPo story that revealed her billing taxpayers over 300 times for staying in her home. He is saying these events strongly undermine the McCain argument that she is a "reformer."
Now Matthews is picking up the ball on Palin's charging per diem rates for staying at home. Heh.

|
Only it's not working out as well as it did in 2000 and 2004, is it? That's where their "the MSM is against us" strategy comes in, because it shores up their low-information base who believes every word. Too bad for them it won't be enough this year, because indies are not so stupid and Dems have 10% higher voter ID than Repugs this time around.
