Kaus actually makes a decent point: "Is McLame scared of campaigning without Palin?"
Is McCain scared of campaigning without Palin? If they "split off," as candidates usually do, the crowds will go with Palin, no? McCain will be left looking unexciting. ... 12:55 P.M.

He's campaigned himself into a box.


The first time he goes somewhere without her, the crowds go away and it will be a VERY damaging visual.
