Obama on Letterman Weds night - and check out this Palin Top Ten List:
Letterman's Newsletter arrived by email and says Obama will be Wednesday night's guest.
It also included this Top Ten List:

2. It lasted 35 minutes, which is about how long she's been governor

1. McCain walked out in pajamas yelling, 'Wrap it up, honey!'

1. I bet the comedian side of him would love to have them win
but the dad side of him wants Obama.

2. He's been hitting pretty hard on the Repubes for the last year or two
Well, as hard as a mainstream comedian can and still keep his ratings and job.

3. I've heard many comics say they will vote obama but McCain would be better for their careers.

5. I like number 7 although..
whatever it is that Mitt shellacs his 'do with would probably break the drill bit.

Letterman has a 'Great Moments in Presidential Speeches' clip a few times a week in which he first shows a clip from a well-known speech by a prior president ('Nothing to fear..' 'Ask not what you can do..'. He throws Reagan in once in while, which is ok: the guy was not much brighter than a post but he could deliver his lines.) Then he shows a clip of Bush, saying/doing something bizarre. Sometimes it's so off the wall, that I wonder if they dubbed it. He's been doing this for at least two years.
