Tim Russert would be a game changer right now.
I never thought very highly of him at the chair on Sunday mornings but I really think he would not have stood for this nonsense. There is no way the McCain people could get away with keeping her off a Sunday show if he were alive today. She would have to appear on one and it would've probably been Meet the Press. I really think if he were here to interview her this Sunday it would be a game changer. Even though he pissed me off many times I think it's a shame.

10. Are we talking about the same Russert who let Wanker and company lie us into war
by not holding Cheney's feet to the fire when he came onto MTP and lied to his and by extension all of our faces?

Because I'm a bit confused by the assertion.

Regards

7. You are absolutely RIGHT
The MTP interview was an unacknowledged "requirement" that every candidate had to go through. She would have had to go on, and oh, how I would love to see Russert put his quotations from her in the past on the screen and make her watch and respond.

Tim could tow the conservative line at times, but he also made many a Republican look like crap after being put through the wringer. I admit it, I miss Tim.
