Palin: "I didn't hesitate."
So, let me get this straight, Sarah. John McCain asks you to take the monumental leap to go from where you are now to being one heartbeat away from the presidency, with the distinct possibility that you would sooner than later assume the role played by only 43 previous people in the entire history of the United States - and you didn't even stop to think about it, even for a few minutes?

Excuse me?

I guess you don't realize - or maybe you just don't care - that people with far greater experience, depth, and distinction than you for the most part take months, sometimes years to decide whether they want to take on this enormous responsibility. They consult with family, friends, advisers, supporters. They pray on it. They agonize about their decision.

But you didn't even hesitate.

Either you are the most arrogant, ambitious and full-of-yourself person in politics (which is really saying alot considering the competition) or you are an idiot.

Of course, the two aren't mutually exclusive, so maybe you're both.

7. More proof
that she doesn't have the intellect or the temperament to be VP. What a painfully stupid and naive answer.

She who hesitates is lost. She's trying to gain foreign policy gravitas. It didn't work, if you ask me.

15. I like people who hesitate. It gives them time to think about whether they REALLY
want to declare war on Russia.

16. Maybe she's been planning this for years and didn't need to think about it when asked?
Of course, that seems pretty ambitious...
