Where is the outrage....
From erroneous absentee applications being sent out by the McCain campaign to the ballot dropping position of a Senate race in Mississippi, the republican party is blatantly ignoring federal and state election laws. In other words, showing their true colors.

They will stop at nothing to disenfranchise voters. Why? Because they know when people come to the polls in droves, they loose. Simple as that. They have purposely tried to suppress voting in this country since the Federalists demanded that voters must have property in order to vote.

Why isn't Obama running ads telling people to beware of Republican Tricks?

Why isn't the news media interrupting their continual political discourse to no where to report on these shocking events?

But most importantly, where is Mr. Honor, the stand up guy, the conscious, if you will, of the Republican party. Where is McCain? Why doesn't he speak out against the actions of those in his party? Didn't he spend five and half years in a dingy cell in Hanoi to protect the freedoms this country has to offer? Maybe that voting rights aren't that important to the man who "loves America..."

Maybe I am over reacting, but I don't think I so. If the Democrats don't stand up and stand up NOW, then they are nothing more than complicit actors in this nightmare before Election Day that is happening right this minute.

The time for this kind of "trickery" to get a pass is over.

It isn't cute. There is no call for this in the 21st century. Too many people have died just trying to vote. Countless others have sacrificed much in order to universalize voting in this country. Was it really all for naught?

Stand up or just sit down and watch the dictators goose step over the Constitution.

My rant

Peace out

1. How many people will know about it? Just politically aware people ..
news magazine readers.

I think you'll see true outrage if the election is stolen -- I'm very afraid it's going to make the Rodney King riots look like a romp.

2. Wow. I hadn't thought about Obama running ads telling people to beware Republican tricks.
That would be a really amazing thing to see. Obama speaking specifically to voters who have had a foreclosure or know someone who has, telling them that the GOP is trying to take away their right to vote. That might actually get enough attention to stop them.

3. The light of truth will cause all "evil doers'" to scurry away...
Just a bit of Bush style rhetoric to bring home the point.

5. every state we win, we have to win big to deflect GOP chicanery
if it's only a couple thousand votes, they can gin that up in a hurry. child's play.
a half-million, that's tougher to fix

4. I have to think that Obama's on-the-ground organization will get information
out to folks.............

All we can do is stay one step ahead of them.

6. It's beyond that....
The party should take out ads on tv and radio and explain what is happening.

They should also say in those ads that they can't depend on the news media to get this important information out so they are taking this right to the people.

The only thing the ground troops can do is stand at suburban polling places and challenge every fucking person that comes by.

7. The light of truth should be turned on
And shined onto these rats...

To expose them as the scumbags they truly are...

To make them melt into the darkest shadows where they will never be seen again...

K&R

Excellent rant
