but there are plenty of non-joke names I wouldn't give my kids either.

In the scheme of things, how and what the palins named their kids is near the bottom of who cares scale.

The guy that wrote "FReakomonics" had a chapter in the book
saying that the names parents give their babies is a predictor
of future success. Very odd names, from the beginning of a child's life,
can prevent socialization, and stigmatize a child.

give some thought to how the name will apply when the child is an adult.
