I don't like her eyeglasses much either.

2. maybe an oyster that wants to go to war with Russia
Frankly, an oyster would be a better VP than that vicious Christian fundamentalist dimwit.

3. At least an oyster can make a pearl, which is a thing of beauty. Palin
only makes a mess.

7. It's hard to imagine Palin generating favorable press for McCain
-- or even for herself -- between now and anytime soon.

Certainly not before November.

She got a few fundies all turned on, and the delegates in St. Paul were a notably zealous bunch, whooping and yelping for their fundie princess.

But Gibson is hardly a liberal. In any event he's more friendly turf for Republicans than most of the anchor-heads, and she couldn't even withstand HIM.

I'd pay some heavy bills on the barrel to watch an interview with Palin conducted by Christianne Amanpour on foreign policy. Palin would melt like a popsickle in July.

McCain got his little bump in the polling post-St. Paul and he has had the "advantage" of hiding behind the novelty of Sarah Palin these last several days, but when your rockstar veep gets kneecapped by Charlie Gibson, it suggests that the next 60 days or so are going to be rough ones.

Advantage Obama/Biden.
