One of Palin's stupidest moments in tonight's interview
GIBSON: What insight into Russian actions, particularly in the last couple of weeks, does the proximity of the state give you?

PALIN: They’re our next door neighbors and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska.

Just painful. The whole interview was painful. I'm watching it again ;)

1. I thought the 'Islam believers" line was pretty bad, but it was in with the Bush Doctrine clip and
was quickly buried.

3. One of the highlights for me was her response to Israel/Iraq
THREE TIMES

"Well, Charlie, we wouldn't second guess Israel..." Are you saying?... "We wouldn't presume to second guess what Israel should do..." Does that mean... "We don't second guess Israel..."

4. Her face is drawn and her lips are tight 'as in tight lipped'
Man, she is one :scared: character on 20/20 thingy mah jigger. Quite a contrast from that charming snake oil salesman usually seen on the campaign trail. Her and McCranky will be in some real knockdown, drag out fight and at each others throat on that 'double talk' express bus/plane B4 the election is over in the next 2 months.

5. I'll have to watch the whole thing, now.
So, by that logic, no one should even have to worry about college tuition any more. Just move next door to the college and stare at it for a few hours a day. Our health care issues in this country should be a breeze as well. Just see anyone who's ever lived near a hospital. Surely their proximity has given them enough insights to make them competent.

20. Oh, wow! I can see a hospital from my front porch. Does that make me an expert on health care?
I can see a bank from my back yard so I could be a financial expert, too. I suppose I should also mention, in the spirit of full disclosure, that if I stood on my roof I might be able to see the stockyards across the river which would, by that logic, make me an expert bullshitter.

7. Charlie missed an opportunity, there. When she implied that proximity was experience ...
... he needed to ask her if she'd met with any Russian leaders.

12. Apparently even journalists can be shocked speechless

Actually, there may have been a gap there. Maybe they had to spend time mopping Sarah Strangelove off after Gibson's spit take.

did a reasonably credible job (at least he didn't kiss her ring out of deference) or she is just so abysmally bad that she'd make any interviewer look competent by comparison. At least Gibson appears to have the usual human number of functioning brain cells.

16. As predicted, Charlie was helping her out every way he could
But she is so fucking stupid that she couldn't hit the softballs he was serving to her. He seemed to be visibly frustrated at this.

8. Hey Palin...
I stood in El Paso and looked over the border into Mexico...Does that give me insight into Mexican government's actions?

She really gives women a bad name...:::walks away with head hanging in shame::hiding smile:::

9. After campaigning with Mccain, the silence in the interview must be deafening
After being use to so much applause and approval, and to be going solo, McBush is getting ready to shout racist!!!

10. But but, Charlie used the words sight (insight) and Russia
in the questions, so in some alterna universe scenario, her answer makes some sense

do I need the sarcasm thingy?

15. Scanners 2, The Sarah Palin Story
She looked like her head was going to explode in that interview. She was so unintelligible and unprepared. No amount of prep work is going to help her in the Biden debate.

18. It would be so hard to pick out just one....
out of some many.

The murikan viewing public are just getting their first taste of the real sarah palin. The blood thirsty, moose killing, alaskan separatist, talkin' in tongues xtian fundie that would set women's rights and scientific advancements back 100 years and keep this country in a state of perpetual war.

She's a gift. Thank you john mccain.
