Then why are we hearing so many people suggest/speculate that Biden should step down so Hillary can run with Obama?

I do sincerely understand the disappointment of Hillary supporters. I also share their conviction that she would make a perfectly qualified and admirable POTUS. But I also believe that to be true of both Obama and Biden. Quite frankly, I think the Democratic party has at least a 50 to 1 ratio to the Republicans in terms of qualified candidates for executive office at the national level but that's not really the point, is it?

The GOP nominated a human being (ostensibly) who posesses a vagina as their candidate for VP. As far as I can tell she brings little more to the political table. The appropriate response to their decision is not to have Biden step down and Hillary step up.

The Democrats have a very strong ticket that requires absolutely no adjustment to be realistic and competitive.

Please, for the sake of each one of us, our country and the planet, follow Bill and Hillary's lead. Accept the Obama / BIDEN ticket and move forward.

8. I wouldn't call it speculation as much as wishful armchair suggestions.

I wish I had bookmarked the thread that inspired me to write this. I'll DU/Google it and see if I can find it. Where I've been seeing it is in responses to OPs not OPs themselves. Based on the previous responses though, I cannot be the only one who is seeing this.
