Palin Hand Signals for the Fubar Fundie Xtians. Watch the hands during her interview & on the stump
She's been coached to use a "prayer" hands together non-verbal cue when in front of the camera and crowds. The knuckle draggers, who don't think independently, are apt to respond to non-verbal cues. Palin is CONSTANTLY putting her hands in "prayer" mode. Not an accident.

Also, has anyone else noted that her mouth doesn't open fully when talking? At times it looks like someone else is throwing their voice to appear like its coming from her mouth...very weird effect.

Someone else mentioned it, and I think it's spot on. Palin's presentation is that of a pagent contestant. Way over her head...

1. I was wishing that I knew more about body language.
That finger jabbing she did to Charlie surely has meaning. And the way she kept using his name seemed kind of hostile. I suspect there was a lot going on inside her that was fighting to break through.

2. The name thing was a way of elevating herself.
Bush does the same thing but through nicknames. It suggests that the person saying it is on a familiar and possibly leadership level relative to the other person. She was trying to assert dominance during the interview, but it was clear from Gibson's body language that he was not phased by her aggression (to his credit).
