Palin challenged Gibson to show where she says global warming isn't man-made
How about we start with your interview with Newsmax, published August 29, 2008?

http://www.newsmax.com/headlines/sarah_palin_vp/2008/08/29/126139.html

Newsmax: What is your take on global warming and how is it affecting our country?

Palin: A changing environment will affect Alaska more than any other state, because of our location. I'm not one though who would attribute it to being man-made.

4. Did she say she didn't say that? Or did she just ask him for the source for her saying that? Did
she deny it?

8. Gibson asked for proof that she ever said climate change wasn't man-made
Edited on Thu Sep-11-08 11:57 PM by Minnesota Raindog
GIBSON: But I, color me a cynic, but I hear a little bit of change in your policy there. When you say, yes, now you're beginning to say it is man-made. It sounds to me like you're adapting your position to Sen. McCain's.

PALIN: I think you are a cynic because show me where I have ever said that there's absolute proof that nothing that man has ever conducted or engaged in has had any affect, or no affect, on climate change.

and once again, from two weeks ago:

Palin: A changing environment will affect Alaska more than any other state, because of our location. I'm not one though who would attribute it to being man-made.

12. IT IS CAUSED BY CHEEZITS
BY THE WAY:

Few voters know that Obama would cut the taxes of the vast majority of Americans by far more than McCain would. Few know Obama would guarantee everyone access to health care or that McCain's health plan might endanger coverage many already have. Few know that Obama has a coherent program to create new jobs through public investment in roads, bridges, transit, and green technologies.

9. Dear Mrs. McMooseburger, can you say 400 parts per million?
I didn't think so.

You see, we're rapidly approaching 400 parts per million of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere. At 600 parts per million there is a high probability that flooding would kill all life on planet earth.

I DON'T GIVE A GOD DAMNED MOOSE TURD WHAT IS CAUSING IT. BUT WE HAD BETTER DO SOMETHING NOW. WAAAAAKE UP!

13. Gibson dropped the ball
He let her wiggle herself out of it. Sure she agreed that humans have to have played "a" role. But she never, and Gibson never made, her say how much. 10%, 50%,- What? Made her extreme view on global warming seem mainstream.

By the way everyone please stop promulgating Luntz's propaganda- it's GLOBAL WARMING NOT CLIMATE CHANGE. We keep letting ourselves get beaten up with this crap. Remember when Estate Tax became Death Tax? ENOUGH!
