5. Sarah Palin reminds me how our educational system fails some people

In college I knew this woman who did not know that Washington, D.C. was not in Washington state, did not know which ocean was on which coast, could not understand a library card catalog, and the kicker: one time while walking to class after a snow storm had covered everything, and the streets weren't clear yet, she asked why the physical plant had gone around and removed snow from all the manhole covers. All the manhole covers were gushing out steam through the ventilation holes in them. Her major was elementary education.

SHE is as or more qualified than Palin.
