We, the people, are going to make history this year
With the power of the Internet, we're going to force Sarah Palin to step down as VP candidate.

I'm not just talking about us on DU but people everywhere, including liberals, conservatives, democrats, republicans and especially independents, who are going to decide this election.

Just Google "Palin" and "Bush doctrine" and you will see that this is burning up the Internet.

Believe it or not, there are many republicans who are appalled at McCain's choice for VP. They just don't hang out on those Freeper sites.

And the more she talks and the more she piles up "Palinisms", the more people are going to be reminded of Bush.

But this time, we, as a country, are a lot more tech savvy than we were eight years ago and even four years ago.

Nowadays, even our grandmothers are familiar with Facebook, Digg, Youtube and the thousands of blogs that spread the truth, not to mention Iphones and Blackberries. We have the power to communicate with one another more than ever. We have the power to demand a more qualified candidate.

We just need to keep talking about it. To keep spreading the truth. To keep leaving our comments on Youtube videos and media blogs and even news articles on Palin.

It will get to the point that McCain will have no choice but to ask her to step down.

And that is when we will have made history.

1. We MUST stop this: 8 years of Bushisms cannot be followed by any Palinisms ... the world will crack

2. The last thing we should want is for her to step down!
She's a gift to us!

4. Her stepping down would be an acknowledgement that McCain is unfit for the presidency

3. This is no longer the Republican party of yesteryear
a backwards lot to be sure but not the honorless heathens bent on power and sticking it to the little guy that we face now.

We must refuse to lose, despite shady tactics, mass ignorance, a media in the tank, prejudice, and despite any and all opposition.

We are only here because braver people against greater odds and fewer resources did not fail and did not falter. Now is our time.

Bring them down!
