11. Ewww, a very sad story about abyssmal child care in Haiti... |
|
I never understood how Haiti could be so near the US and be so awful, and it shares it's island with the Dominican Republic. And when we did have troops there it didn't seem to help one bit. Oh well. Link: http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/world/2008/09/11/penhaul.haiti.medical.horror.cnn:hi:

And we can look forward to more Haitis if we don't win this away from the current abusers, some right here in the USA.
Are you in Switzerland? If so, it must be just past sunrise, no?
I visited once, Geneva, Lusaunne, long ago, beautiful, and I had a very moving experience while inside the Musée de l'Horologie de Genève.
I was overcome by the exacting craftsmanship of such tiny parts during a time without modern tools, and I had to step outside.

21. Ahh, not far from Lugano! |
|
I was there, too, I remember being impressed by how beautiful it was to have, in one view, the lake, the alps, and palm trees!
I designed an interior "landscape" of marble slabs for the lobby of the "Residence Au Lac" in 80's, I wonder if it's still there.
I should come and find out!

6. It tells me that John McCain failed as a presidential hopeful |
|
John McCain failed the first test of his future presidency. He chose a vapid inexperienced screwball religious extremist because his base is not behind him, but they sure are behind her. Now, he's hiding behind her apron strings because he has nothing at all to offer the country. He comes across on the TV screen like a very creepy version of the Wizard of Oz after Toto pulled away the curtains.
She is not ready to be a heartbeat away from the president, yet McCain chose her for his VP. He failed miserably at his first test. It's as simple as that.

Where's my prize? :D
It also tells me that Pooty-Poot Putin is laughing his a** off right now at the hubris of the Witch from Wasilla.
"Hubris? Duh, what's hubris, Charlie?" I honestly think she didn't know what that word meant in her interview with Gibson.

I'm north of Houston and I'm sure to feel it a bit. I do fear trees falling. I feel pretty safe in regard to floods.
This is not a democratic or republican thing, just bad weather.
You won't get an arguement from me that global warming is a factor.
We've taken in 3 people who evacuated Houston. Wish us well.

|
defend her with a straight face anymore. She is a pre-kindergarten baby among adults and can't play or carry herself. So McLame proved that he is not suitable to be president by his first and the most important decision of his presidency.

MSNBC always had Olbermann and Maddow...and Tweety has been very positive for Obama of late. When the other MSNBC lackeys are on I switch to CNN...for balance, my balancing act.
