Jimmy Kimmel does the experiment -- what if you put lipstick on a pig? (video)
Jimmy Kimmel gave a brief explanation of Lipstickgate, in which he noted that the disputed expression is a common one. He included the clip of McSame using the phrase about Hillary Clinton.

Then he moved on to testing Obama's statement. Is it true that, if you put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig? The show procured a pig and equipped three of its security guards with tubes of lipstick. The pig was not particularly cooperative. One of the intrepid experimenters got bitten for his trouble.

Watch the video here:

For those of you who don't want to watch it, because you lack either high-speed connection or a taste for slapstick comedy, I'll provide a spoiler. Kimmel concluded that Obama was right, and that when you put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig.

Maybe next week he should do a pit bull and see if it turns into a hockey mom.
