2. That pronunciation= AUTOMATIC FAIL
There needs to be a Constitutional amendment stating that mispronunciation of "nuclear" is an automatic disqualification for high office.

3. omg really?
I won't watch her interview, she makes me sick.
"Nukular" is the new American pronunciation.. hopefully in the next few years we'll stop accepting that kind of bullshit.

7. LOL. I know what you mean. I was watching the local
news when it came on.

Have to say, though, Charlie Gibson didn't really lob any softballs at her especially about global warming. She's got the Republican duck and bob down perfectly. Never gave a straight answer.

5. I Heard That Too, And It Seemed Pronounced,
Like she wanted to emphasize it.

8. That's exactly right.
I don't think even Bush would've called it "nukular" if he hadn't been a politician. It's a tactic to make yourself seem like a common man (or woman). Both parties do it, but the Republicans are more shameless in it. Other examples include the refusal to ever use the word "whom" in any circumstance and the use of the phrase "we've got to" as opposed to "we have to." You have to pretend to be stupid in politics.
