The Heartland of America???? This is a total LIE people!
Palin has NOT started construction on a NG Pipeline, she has gotten a paper pipeline started that MAY one day if everything goes right in 10 to 15 years bring NG to the lower 48. (thru canada) She has agreed to give Trans=Canada HALF a BILLION Dollars to do feasibility studies to see if it is possible to build this pipeline. They don't have to give back this money if they fail!!!! THis is a huge scandal and shows total lack of understanding on everyone's part!

There are no permits, there is no pipe either bought or ordered, there is nothing but the Plan to Pursue the IDEA!
McCain and Palin implying the construction has started and soon Alaska's Gas will be available is a very big and demonstrably False Statement!

Why, oh why aren't we hearing this over and over???
Also the idea as McCain said that Alaska provides 20% of Americas energy is another LIE.
It is only 3%!!!
