Palin's Revealing Red-Neck
Sarah Palin was making stuff up, as she did when she tried to answer the "Bush doctrine question" and trying to remember and apply talking points, as she did with the "on the God's side" Lincoln reference to explain her own dogmatic holy war statements about Iraq.

The "tells" which revealed her real feelings of inadequacy, masked in some respects by her words to the contrary, fully emerged in the blooming of the little patch of red on her neck just below the corner of jaw as whe was asked about the Bush Doctrine and trembling voice of her subsequent responses.

Sarah Palin has not ever thought about these issues before in her life. She is trying to make up for a lifetime lacking in curiosity about these critical issues with a few hours of cramming for the test.

Her election, even as vice president, would put our nation in great jeopardy.

1. She wasn't "real" at all...
she did what most people do when they're trying to impress: be composed, smile, say the interviewer's name every other word.

She was rehearsed (not well-rehearsed) and very much in over her head.

The people who are drawn to her "realness" had to be disappointed.

2. My daughter summed it up perfectly
She's 18 and a very good student. " Quoting Lincoln makes you sound like a retard". Are we to believe that this women reads Lincoln. Here is the question I would ask her. What books have you read since college?

3. She reminded me of a savvy but lazy student
Fudging an essay exam. Just fill the page.
