Watching Sarah Palin Think Is Like Watching A Sea Turtle Lay Its Eggs
Edited on Fri Sep-12-08 07:25 AM by Magic Rat
Ever watch a nature show on sea turtles and how they lay their eggs? That's what Sarah Palin's interview reminded me of.

They have to leave their comfort zone (the sea - scripted campaign speeches).

They have to drag themselves up onto land, carrying all their dead weight (their body - her lack of experience and knowledge).

They have to struggle to dig through the sand using only their weak flippers (their flippers - her ability to recall her handlers prepped answers).

They drop some eggs into hole they dug (their eggs - her first responses to questions).

They have to then cover the hole (more sand digging - backtracking on her responses with prepared remarks).

They have to crawl back out to sea (crawling - crawling away from the question and trying to shift the topic to something more comfortable).

Then the eggs hatch and have to brave the shore and all the predators waiting to pick them off (baby turtles surving against seagulls, raccoons - her responses surviving news media, viewers, bloggers, ect).

Really, this interview should have been broadcast on the National Geographic channel, not ABC.

6. Magic Rat, that is an insult to all intelligent sea turtles
She reminds me more of a Palmetto bug or a giant cockroach. :puke:
