This extremist choice by McCain is insulting to every intelligent American woman. By choosing a religious right extemist with virtually no qualifiying experience, John McCain has proven that the national security of this country comes second to political gamesmanship. In terms of women's rights, Salin Palin should be embarrassed trying to court the female vote. She believes women should be forced to carry a pregnancy resulting from rape or incest. Yet, she has cut funding in her state for funding to assist teen mothers. In addition, she holds anti-scientific views believing in Creationism (the belief the world is 6000 years old), and has stated she does not believe Global Warming is a man made phenomenon. And, in typical Republican tradition, she is under investigation for using her political power for forcing the termination of a law enforcement officer for personal reasons. It is an utter and total insult that John McCain believes offering up a candidate who mirrors the views and policies of the traditional old white male establishment will fool American women. This choice has rallied me to fight even harder AGAINST McCain, and Obama can count on a sizeable donation. We are not stupid, Sen McCain, and we will not abide this condescending choice.
