More than anything else that Caribou Barbie said yesterday....
this one line infuriates me the most. She told the troops headed to Iraq that they would "be there to defend the innocent from the enemies who planned and carried out and rejoiced from the death of thousands of Americans."

She is so fucking ignorant that she doesnt know that even her own hero, Monkeyboy, has finally admitted that Iraq had nothing to do with 911. Now, I know she didnt actually say 911, but its quite obvious what she meant. Very little ambiguous about it.

Please correct me if I am reading that quote wrongly.

1. That's correct she is among the ignorant masses..
who think that Iraq and 9/11 are connected. She's dangerously stupid and willfully ignorant.

4. Oh, the Al Qaeda that didn't exist in Iraq
until we invaded. Gotcha. Do they really think we're that stupid?

5. I really tried to look at the quote dispassionately....
but unless you are a koolaide drinker, it has to be interpreted as 911. Be afraid you sheeple, be very afraid. If we dont fight them over there, we have to fight them here.

6. They can say that, but it's false
Palin said: “You’ll be there to defend the innocent from the enemies who planned and carried out and rejoiced in the death of thousands of Americans,” she told the soldiers. “America can never go back to that false sense of security that came before September 11, 2001.”

She was falsely conflating Iraq and 9/11.

White House press briefing, August 2006:

QUESTION: What did Iraq have to do with that?
BUSH: What did Iraq have to do with what?

QUESTION: The attacks upon the World Trade Center.

BUSH: Nothing

8. If Al Qaeda was in Iraq pre-2001, it was news to their mortal enemy S. Hussein.

If they are there NOW? Well, I guess we SHOULDN'T have COMMITTED the WAR CRIME of an ILLEGAL INVASION.
THESE? "the enemies who planned and carried out and rejoiced from the death of thousands of Americans" = BUSH and CHENEY, sending INNOCENT SOLDIERS, OUR PATRIOTS, to a FALSE and IMMORAL WAR of AGGRESSION against INNOCENT IRAQI PEOPLE---FOR OIL. PROFITS. HALLIBURTON. BLACKWATER.
The "enemies" NOW are Iraqi PATRIOTS who HATE THE OCCUPIER: US.

Got it now?
GOOD.

11. I think it's worse than simple ignorance.
She & McNutso have figured out that they can tell whatever lies they want to, and the mass media won't call them on it. Oh, Matthews might squeak a little bit about the BTNW, and Keith might roar out to his choir, but the lies will live on with an unholy life of their own, unchallenged for the most part. They suffer no penalty for their lies. Why not reconstruct reality however you want it to be? Everyone will go along with it.
