Obama's strategy needs to include the following:
1. State unequivocally we now know Palin is not prepared to be President should something happen to John McCain. It does not matter that she is a woman. Nothing else needs to be said about the Republicans VP Candidate.

2. John McCain must take full responsibility for the statements Palin made which have been proved as untrue, and which she continued to repeat after they were rejected by every reputable member of the MSM. After all, McCain chose her to be his VP Choice --he now must accept her missteps and shortcomings.

3. Obama needs to say he is going to talk about the tough issues that really matter to the American public, and he invites Republican Candidate John McCain to do the same rather than run negative ads about non-issues.

4. Obama needs to run an ad that lays down the gauntlet with McCain challenging him to explain his positions on key issues, then run contradictory statements by McCain. Key here is to show inconsistency.

5. Obama needs to address the wealth disparity in this country, and remind people who got the largest amounts of the Bush tax cuts. And in the same ad include that reporting the facts about where taxpayer money goes is not class warfare, but rather disclosing facts that Republicans and their lobbyists/donors would like to keep secret.

6. Obama needs to address the $$ spent on the war in Iraq, the lives lost, and the number of soldiers still in IRaq -- pointing out that the # of troops remains higher today than it was before the surge. Obama will reduce the troops # in Iraq, stop the wasteful spending in Iraq and make the Iraqis take responsibility for their own country. And close with Obama promising we will redirect the resources to Afghanistan where the people who attacked us are located.

7. Obama needs to inspire AMericans to reclaim their government, their rights, and stop being afraid to live as Americans in a free and Democratic society. We should not trade our rights and freedom for the false hope of absolute security from all dangers. We need to live as Americans again, leading the rest of the world to look up to us for our freedoms and our leadership worldwide on human rights and justice.

8. Open a new line of attack on McCain which highlights the similarities of Bush and McCain on each of the critical issues. Use Bush's image and his position, then Use McCAin's image with the same position. Ask "look at what Bush has done to earn his 29% approval rating, do we want another Bush clone in the White House?" Close with the Bush/McCain hug photo on one side of the screen, and a graph that shows the dive in approval ratings for Bush on the other.

9. Run an ad that is composed of gaffes by McCain which reflect on his mental acuity, and lack of knowledge mixing up names of countries and other facts. Close with the President of the US must be be not only be ready at a moment's notice to address a crisis, but he must be RIGHT.

10. Run an ad which highlights the issues McCain emphasized in his ads for the last 2 weeks by reference to a calendar, and compare the issues Obama has emphasized in his ads for the same 2 week period --then close with "which Candidate is addressing the issues that matter most in selecting our next President? McCain? Or Obama...."

These are just a few of the my ideas as to how to put the Obama Campaign back on the right footing.
