Or do you think the public at large will eventually get sick and tired of hearing it?

I gotta say it, I can't see even the right leaners out there wanting to hear that EVERY time she's asked anything. It HAS to be wearing thin... doesn't it?

1. the entire thing is an attempt to pick off 2-4% of the female vote
Some voters knee jerk react to any criticism of Palin that they can consider sexist. McCain knows this, and that's why his campaign is working that angle. They know that there are a very small but identifiable group of female voters who see sexism in just about everything in life, and will go for this particular "head fake" every time.

The GOP will play this card every day until the election, because they don't want to talk issues, they don't want to talk about qualifications to be president, and they do want to pick off some female voters who will vote for McCain Palin because they perceive Palin to be unfairly attacked. It is not rational, but it is real.

3. Certainly it will win them a few votes, but will it lose them more than it gains?
Because, again, I can totally see people, right leaners that I work with for example, getting really put off by all the "this is sexist" crap.

4. I don't think it will bring down any of the conservative votes.
They're behind Palin, and while they don't care for the sexism argument, they're GOP, so they're accustomed to two faced arguments.
