For the naysayers and panic-ers: Debate Schedule
September 26, 2008: Presidential debate with domestic policy focus,
University of Mississippi, Oxford, MS

October 2, 2008: Vice Presidential debate, Washington University, St.
Louis, MO

October 7, 2008: Presidential debate in a town hall format, Belmont
University, Nashville, TN

October 15, 2008:Presidential debate with foreign policy focus,
Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY

I posted this since there are a lot of naysayers and defeatist on this forum these last few days.

1. Did you think the election would be easy?
2. Do you lose the faith at the first sign of a challenge?
3. Notice that the battles are being fought in Red and Purple State, not in Blue States? That means we are on the offensive and that they are playing defense.
4. Look at the Debate Schedule. Don't you think that Obama and Biden will win each one handily?

Keep the faith. VP candidates make very little difference.

2. Depends on what the meaning of "win" is.

5. good reminder
I think the debates are going to be far more influential to undecided voters or support/weak voters than the political conventions.

Once McCain is forced to defend his Bush-like tax policies, his dishonorable campaign, his 100 year war in Iraq and his total cluelessness on the economy we're going to see a major pivot point. Each debate is going to be more and more brutal to McCain's presidential hopes.

That's why I'm not worried. Once the focus is back on the issues and not crap we're going to take this thing.
