I'm not giving anymore money to Obama's campaign until he comes out swinging. We always play Mr. Niceguy and we always lose. This f****** election shouldn't even be close. Senator Obama, take on their lies now before it is too late. We realize you are a classy statesman and above the fray. But you are about to be a loser in this election. Enough!!!!!!!!!!!

1. The Daily show laid it out beautifully for them. They should run with it.

16. Agreed.
That entire segment was fantastic. I'm not sure what it would do because Rove isn't running (at least in the open), but I agree it would make for great television.

4. Palin is beating Obama, not McCain.
Take her down now. She is completely unqualified and McCain's judgment picking her is seriously lacking.

10. Agreed, take down Palin and the house of cards falls and the
Republicans go back to being demoralized.

19. Just to be clear

I agree that Palin needs to be taken down and exposed as bush in a skirt. I just think Obama shouldn't talk about her. Other Democrats should swing for the fences.

3. I'm thinking it's because it's Karl Rove. The majority of Americans don't
realize who/what he is, and how deeply his hateful ways have influenced McCain's campaign.

And it's defensive - we need to be on the offense, not just pointing out 'gotchas' of the other side.

6. I'll take offensive but where is it? Give me something that shows we will
fight these clowns.

14. Agree.
That was just my opinion on why they weren't using Rove's statement.

I'm glad I'm not in the driver's seat - it's gotta be a tough balancing act. To attack fairly, without giving them the opportunity to scream "foul!".

Obama's campaign said they're upping it some, so we'll see.

7. Well, couple reasons.
If Obama were to run an ad with Karl Rove mocking Kaine's experience...

it wouldn't be a direct reflection on either of the candidates on the GOP ticket, and it would be insulting to Kaine.

Why would Obama want to run an ad with an advisor insulting someone who isn't even in the presidential campaign?

13. I'm out there fighting the lies every day. Why can't Obama do the same?
I'm not throwing money away if he isn't going to fight.

His marketing team has been very disappointing.

15. I don't think the average person would make the connection

The average voter doesn't know who Tim Kaine is. They barely know who Karl Rove is. Enjoy the money that you are saving by abandoning the campaign. Buy yourself something nice.

17. I'm not jumping ship. I will support in other ways. However, my money
will go towards ads and I'm not wasting it on any more lame ones. When I see they are turning up the heat, I will open my checkbook once again.
